Summary

Guilong Cai holds a PhD as well as a BA in Accounting from Sun Yat-sen University. Before joining SYSBS, he was a junior research associate of Chinese University of Hong Kong and HK Polytechnic University. He was visiting scholar in the University of Rhode Island in US during Jan. 2017 to Jan. 2018. His research papers appeared in international and national academic journals, such as Journal of Business Ethics, Emerging Markets Review, Pacific-Basin Finance Journal, etc. His current interests cover business groups in China, corporate governance in SOEs, accounting information quality and the Chinese capital markets. He was rewarded the Excellent doctoral dissertation of Sun Yat-sen University in 2019, the Outstanding student (postgraduate stage) of Guangdong province during 2016-2017, the National scholarship for doctoral students in 2016, etc.
