Goal
The program of Management Science and Engineering in accordance with the educational policy of all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique, requires master students to master the basic of Marxist economic theories, abide by the constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China, have good morality and scientific accomplishment, and be healthy physically and mentally. Management Science and Engineering is a program that closely combines the theory and practice of management. This program cultivates senior professional talents with comprehensive development of morality, intelligence and physique, high management quality, reasonable knowledge structure and strong ability to analyze and solve problems.
The program of Business Administration in accordance with the educational policy of all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique, requires master students to master the basic of Marxist economic theories, abide by the constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China, have good morality and scientific accomplishment, and be healthy physically and mentally. This program cultivates professional talents that have solid foundation of management and economics theories, have interest of research and rigorous scientific attitude, master the quantitative and qualitative analysis method and data processing technology, understand the academic frontier and trends of this discipline, good at refining research problem, have the capability of academic research and innovation, able to carry out the academic research and applied research of this discipline.
The program of Finance in accordance with the educational policy of all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique, requires master students to master the basic of Marxist economic theories, abide by the constitution and laws of the People’s Republic of China, have good morality and scientific accomplishment, and be healthy physically and mentally. This program is committed to cultivating senior financial talents with international vision and strong research ability who will make contributions to the development of China’s financial industry and economic construction. Students are required to have a solid foundation of economic theory, systematically master the related theoretical knowledge and practical skills of corporate finance and financial engineering, understand the dynamic and trends of financial theory and practice both at home and abroad, have strong ability of research, qualitative and quantitative analysis, computer application ability and higher foreign language level, to be qualified for the financial management work in financial institutions, all kinds of enterprises and government departments.
The length of schooling for academic master program is three-year, with the longest learning period not exceeding five-year; The degree system for master-doctoral program is five-year, including two-year for master degree and three-year for doctor degree, with the longest learning period not exceeding seven-year from the enrollment of doctoral candidates.
Process
Our school advocates the comprehensive cultivation of master and doctor, and the length of schooling for master-doctoral program is five-year.
The length of schooling for academic master is three-year, which cultivates reserve and excellent students for the academic doctor program of SYSU.
