Master of Auditing
MAud Program Overview
The MAud program of Sun Yat-sen University started in 2012, supported by the accounting discipline of our school (one of the eight national key accounting disciplines, the featured program construction of Ministry of Education, famous program and key discipline in Guangdong Province), utilizes the MBA education center of School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University as platform, based on the strong faculty of Accounting and the education philosophy as “liberal arts, ability and responsibility, pursuit of excellence”, committed to cultivating the senior talents with comprehensive literacy development, and that pays equal attention to theory and practice, adapts to international competition environment and different culture background, engages in high-level accounting, auditing, internal control and risk management work in government audit departments, enterprises and institutions.
Program Highlights
1) A wide range of knowledge system. Courses of the program include theoretical and professional education in accounting, finance and taxation, law, management and public policy, etc.
2) The course encourages the use of case teaching method, which is student-centered, guides students to participate in teaching and improves students’ learning enthusiasm.
3) The program implements Dual-Tutors System, and external tutors are involved in the whole process of student training.
4) The course carries out various second class activities, which enhances student’s communication and leadership.
5) The school organizes students to have a four-month professional internship to build students practical skills.
6) With the training goal as “liberal arts, ability and responsibility, pursuit of excellence”, the program focuses on developing students’ professional and business ethics.
7) Build 5M (MBA, MPAcc, MF, MPM, MAud) platform to realize resources sharing. Students can select the courses offered by other programs according to their own career development needs, and the credits will be recognized if their scores are qualified.
