The research results of Assistant Professor Zhang Pengdong were published in the Journal of Management Sciences in China

Focusing on the bond market, Dr.?Zhang Pengdong and his collaborators empirically examined the micro-effects of breaking the bond redemption practice. The research team took this opportunity to examine and found that the interest rate liberalization of bonds aggravated the financing constraints of enterprises when issuing bonds, which urged?enterprises to adjust R&D decisions and reduce R&D investment.
The research results were awarded Excellent Paper in the third China Finance and Accounting Annual Conference in 2019, and recently published in the Journal of Management Sciences in China, Vol.8, 2022, entitled "Breaking the redemption practice, interest rate liberalization of bonds, and R&D decisions?of enterprises".
