AMBA Accreditation Awarded

On February 23, 2010, School of Business received the formal notification letter from Association of MBAs indicated that after the on-site audit and nearly two months’ time of detailed assessment, the full-time MBA program, part-time MBA program and EMBA program of School of Business has reached the requirements of AMBA accreditation, and they decided to awards the AMBA accreditation to School of Business. At this point, School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University has become the world''''s first 161 certified members in 72 countries around the world.

During on-site assessment of AMBA delegation, President Huang Daren and Vice-President Li Mengfeng of Sun Yat-sen Universtiy met with the AMBA delegation personally. Dean Li Xinchun, Vice-President Liu Feng, Vice-President Wang Fan, Vice-President Lan Yu and other leaders of School of Business have involved throughout the on-site assessment process.

The Association of MBAs is the international impartial authority on postgraduate business education. It was founded in 1967. Their accreditation service is the global standard for all MBA, DBA and MBM programmes. They accredit MBA provision at 161 schools in 72 countries.

AMBA’s accreditation is devised to ensure that the quality of Masters level business education produces professional business leaders. Being accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBA) is a significant accomplishment for school of business. It is also an important milestone of the development of School of Business
