ESSEC was the first non-US business school accredited by AACSB and EQUIS. It has 3 campuses in Cergy, Paris, and Singapore, consisting of eight departments: Accounting and Management Control; Economics; Finance; Information and Decision Systems; Logistics, Production and Services; Marketing; Management; and Private and Public Policy. It has seven highly ranked academic programs, and eight different institutes for research areas, including an Entrepreneurship Center to help students start their own businesses.

The purpose of the meeting between ESSEC and SYSBS was to discuss cooperation possibilities in three areas: 1) a joint EMBA/Executive Education Program, 2) a Double Degree Program on the Master/MBA Level, and 3) a faculty exchange of lectures/courses/seminars, and joint research.?

Both parties will initially start cooperation in these three areas, and smoothly develop the relationship/partnership between the two schools.
