Students from the School of Business completed a successful global camp at the National University of Singapore
Recently, 40 MBA and MPAcc students from the School of Business?Sun Yat-sen University, led by Li Zhiming?- Deputy Director of the Professional Degree Office, went to the National University of Singapore for a?five-day?course on?"Business Analysis and Decision-making". This trip was not merely?a feast of knowledge, but also a cross-cultural exchange and expansion of horizons.
On the first day of study, under the guidance of Professor Dong Runzhen, the students explored the fields of "Data and Discovery" and "Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA)". The second part of the course focused on how to evaluate and optimize the constructed models. On the third day, the students intensively discussed the various tools of predictive analysis and the strategies of inventory management. The basic overview of neural networks gave everyone a preliminary understanding of the working principles of artificial intelligence. On the afternoon of the third day, faculties and students from the School of Business?went to Changi Airport for a corporate visit. During the visit, the students felt the grand scale and efficient operation of Changi Airport. Two of Professor Dong's students Joe Chan and Sean Lam brought wonderful sharing to everyone. In the?spare time, the students embarked on a journey to explore Singaporean culture, and?visited Fort Canning Park, Sun Yat-sen Nanyang Memorial Hall, Chinatown, and Gardens by the Bay.
After five days of enriching study and cultural experiences, the National University of Singapore meticulously arranged a heartwarming closing ceremony for the students.
