Warm congratulations! The first "Asia-Pacific Marketing International Academic Conference" opened in our university
On the morning of September 23rd, 2023, the first "Asia-Pacific Marketing International Academic Conference" opened. More than 400 representatives from hundreds of universities at home and abroad gathered at Sun Yat-sen University to celebrate the historic event of the Asia-Pacific Marketing Academic Community.
At the first inaugural meeting of the union council, Professor Wang Haizhong of Sun Yat-sen University was elected as Chairman; Professor Xu Jingwen - Vice President of the University of Macau, was elected as Co-chairman.
Wang Haizhong - Chairman of the Alliance, and representatives of founding institutions and other institutions in the Asia-Pacific region displayed the flag of the Asia Pacific Marketing Conference.
At the opening ceremony of the conference, Tai Zhongzhi, Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University, expressed his congratulations on the establishment of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao University Marketing Research Alliance and the successful of the APMA Conference, and welcomed the guests and scholars to learn from each other and make progress through the conference.
Dr. Zhong Yibiao - Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, as a representative of the conference organizer, reviewed the brilliant achievements of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University and its Marketing discipline, and looked forward to more and in-depth collaboration opportunities with domestic and foreign universities in the future.
The conference was hold from September 23rd to 25th with the theme "Marketing Theory and Practice Innovations in the Digital Era". Around this theme, more than 200 English papers were reported in 25 sub-forums, and nearly 50 senior scholars made comments and exchanges on the spot. In addition, the annual conference also invited more than 30 academic and industry guests to come to the venue to share and discuss with the participants.
