嘉宾介绍：李世炳（Li Sai-Ping）教授，香港中文大学毕业，美国西雅图华盛顿大学博士，曾任中国台湾地区物理研究所研究员，副所长，所长等职，华东理工大学讲座教授，现为香港科技大学物理系客座教授。主要研究方向为复杂系统，其中包括金融及社会复杂系统等相关课题。
讲座介绍：
In this lecture, I will first review several fundamental concepts of complex network theory, including degree, shortest path, adjacency matrix, centralities, community detection and various types of networks. I will then move on to give examples from my recent research work on financial and social systems. I will also discuss the possibilities and directions of applying various complex network concepts in the analysis of financial systems in the future.
复习复杂网络的一些基本概念，包括度，最短路径，中心性，社群发现以及不同网络类型等概念。接着讨论几个近年应用在金融及社会系统中的案例，最后简略讨论复杂网络在未来一些研究方向的运用。
