ZHANG Cai Wen is an associate professor?of management science at the Business School, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China. He received his PhD from the National University of Singapore, specializing in quality engineering and management. Prior to joining?Sun Yat-sen Business School, Dr. Zhang worked for five years as a statistical consultant for Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Singapore). He has published papers in?international peer-reviewed journals including?IIE Transactions,?European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Computers and Operations Research, Reliability Engineering and System Safety, Quality Engineering, etc. His current research interests include quality?management, statistical quality control, reliability,?and?operations management.?
